InTek is founded at the end of 2001, and in full operation start-on early 2002.
So, to date (2010) it’s more than eight (8) years in business operation with
purely focusing on SCADA and Automation business.
Four (4) of InTek senior engineers that founded the company was came from the same business area, and has more than 15 years experiences in SCADA and Automation area [since 1993] for Oil & Gas and Electrical Utilities sector.
Currently, InTek has 10 engineers plus 5 technicians, that fully experiences on SCADA and Automation system, as well as the data telecommunication infrastructure.
During the last seven (7) years of operation [period of 2003 to 2010], InTek is focusing on the Electrical Utilities SCADA market, but our senior engineers previously are working on Oil & Gas [period of 1993 to 2003]
As we found the need for protocols custom development in Electrical SCADA system, in addition to the SCADA System Integration work, we were starting developing of our own InTek software/firmware products to satisfy the requirement to get a true open system of SCADA system, by focusing on real-time protocols development and implement it on various platforms.
Three (3) of InTek’s major software/firmware products are :
InTek Hybrid Multi OPC Server(MS Windows-based)
InTek Universal Concentrator(Linux-based on Single Board Computer with integrated multiple serial-ports)
InTek Micro Surveillance(J2ME-based on Siemens TC65T GSM/GPRS Modem)
